Tamron TAP-in Console for Canon
The TAP-in Console is an accessory that enables firmware updates and customized set-ups for selected Tamron SP lenses.
By attaching a TAP-in Console and running the free dedicated software (Tamron TAP-in Utility) on your personal computer by USB connection, you can update firmware and customize various lens functions to meet your needs, anytime, anywhere. Selected lenses can be customized by changing various settings to match your preferences based on how you like to use the lens, making it even more versatile and user-friendly. Customization can include the following (depending on the lens model and built-in features): focus adjustment, focus distance limiter customization, VC adjustment (for example, prioritize viewfinder image stabilization or stabilization of captured images or restore factory default) and full-time manual focus override customization.
