Returns & Refunds Policy

Return Window

We have a 3-day return policy, which means you have three (3) days from the date you receive your item to request a return.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Be in the same condition as received

  • Be unused and unworn

  • Include all original tags and packaging

  • Be accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase

How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, please contact us at sales@tecafrica.co.za.

If your return is approved, we will provide:

  • A return shipping label

  • Clear instructions on how and where to send your item

⚠️ Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

Damages and Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon receipt. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately.

  • Claims for damaged or incorrect items must be reported within 2 working days of receipt.

  • Eligible cases may qualify for a full refund or exchange.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are non-returnable, including but not limited to:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, plants)

  • Custom or special-order products

  • Personal care and hygiene items

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

❌ Sale items and gift cards are non-returnable.

If you are unsure whether your item qualifies for a return, please contact us before purchasing.

Exchanges

The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to:

  1. Return the original item (subject to approval)

  2. Place a new, separate order once the return is accepted

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status.

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund

Handling & Cancellation Fees

  • A 20% handling fee (based on the current item price) will apply to goods returned after 5 days from the original purchase date, provided the goods are in resalable condition

  • Special-order items are subject to a 35% cancellation fee

Tecafrica Solutions reserves the right to apply these fees in accordance with this policy.
