Designed specifically for professional aerial imaging, the DJI CrystalSky Monitor features an ultra-bright display that remains clearly visible in direct sunlight. Built from the ground up for DJI aerial systems, CrystalSky works seamlessly with DJI GO, DJI GO 4 and DJI Pilot, giving camera operators precise control over their aircraft and camera systems.

Ultra-Bright Display

With brightness of up to 2,000 cd/m², the CrystalSky Ultra Bright display is more than four times brighter than typical mobile devices. This delivers clear on-screen details, sharp imagery and vibrant colours, allowing operators to accurately monitor and fine-tune image composition even in challenging outdoor lighting.

The dedicated Sunlight Readability Enhancement mode processes the image in real time to improve visibility and provide a more comfortable viewing experience under bright sunlight.

Smoother, Low-Latency Video

CrystalSky uses an optimised video decoder designed to process transmitted camera footage in real time. Unlike conventional smartphones and tablets, where software limitations can affect video decoding, CrystalSky is designed to minimise issues such as video jitter and latency.

The result is a smooth, responsive live-view experience that helps operators monitor aerial footage with greater precision.

Customised System with DJI GO

CrystalSky features a customised operating system that removes unnecessary Android applications and services, helping optimise system performance and reduce exposure to unwanted software.

The integrated DJI applications provide access to essential flight and camera functions, including:

• Playback
• Offline maps
• Footage editing and sharing

Extended Battery Life

The CrystalSky uses a two-cell 4,920 mAh external intelligent battery designed to provide extended operating time and reliable performance.

The battery supports fast charging and intelligently manages its discharge rate, including in low-temperature environments.

Approximate maximum operating times:

• 7.85-inch: 4–5 hours
• 5.5-inch: 5–6 hours

Dual MicroSD Card Slots

Two MicroSD card slots allow users to expand storage, play footage directly on the monitor and create convenient backups of aerial imagery.

CrystalSky supports H.264 and H.265 video decoding, allowing compatible footage to be played back at up to 30 fps and 60 fps respectively.

Footage can also be output through the monitor's HDMI port, while the built-in DJI GO editing tools allow users to quickly edit and share high-quality content.

CrystalSky is designed for demanding outdoor environments. Its external battery can operate in temperatures as low as -20°C (-4°F), while the monitor's integrated cooling system enables normal operation in temperatures up to 40°C (104°F).

This makes CrystalSky suitable for professional aerial imaging applications in a wide range of environmental conditions.

DJI Aerial System Compatibility

CrystalSky can connect to a range of DJI aerial platforms either via Wi-Fi or through the remote controller's USB connection, depending on the specific aircraft and configuration.

Important compatibility notes:

• A monitor mounting bracket is required for certain configurations. Pricing may include the required bracket where indicated.
• The Mavic Pro and Osmo Series gimbal cameras, excluding Osmo Mobile, are compatible only with the 5.5-inch CrystalSky monitor.
