The DJI Zenmuse X5S is a professional Micro Four Thirds aerial camera designed for high-end imaging and cinematography with the DJI Inspire 2. Featuring an upgraded Micro 4/3 sensor, the X5S delivers a 12.8-stop dynamic range, improved signal-to-noise ratio, and enhanced colour sensitivity compared with the Zenmuse X5R.

The camera supports a wide selection of Micro Four Thirds lenses, including zoom lenses, with focal lengths from 9mm to 45mm—equivalent to 18mm to 90mm on a 35mm camera. This provides greater flexibility for capturing detailed aerial footage across a variety of professional applications.

Powered by the CineCore 2.0 image processing system on the DJI Inspire 2, the Zenmuse X5S can record 5.2K video at 30fps in CinemaDNG and Apple ProRes, as well as 4K video at up to 60fps using H.264 and 4K at 30fps using H.265, with both supporting bitrates up to 100Mbps.

For high-resolution photography, the X5S supports 20.8MP images and continuous DNG burst shooting at up to 20fps, making it well suited to professional aerial photography, cinematography, inspection, surveying, and other demanding imaging applications.
