Introduction to DJI Flight Hub 2

DJI Flight Hub 2 is a cloud-based platform for fleet management, mission planning, and real-time monitoring of DJI drones. It’s designed for commercial operations, providing insights, safety management, and centralized control.

Key Features of Basic Use:

  • Real-time drone location tracking

  • Flight record and telemetry review

  • Task scheduling and mission management

  • Geo-fencing and flight restriction monitoring

  • Remote mission monitoring via DJI Pilot or other supported apps

Basic Requirements:

  • DJI account

  • Flight Hub 2 Basic subscription (usually comes with enterprise drones)

  • Compatible DJI drones (e.g., M300 RTK, M30 Series, or similar)

  • Internet access (for cloud features)


2. Account Setup

  1. Go to DJI Flight Hub 2 and log in with your DJI account.

  2. Verify your email and subscription level (Basic vs Enterprise).

  3. Create your organization or link to an existing enterprise account.

  4. Invite team members by email to manage flights collaboratively.


3. Adding Drones

  1. Connect your drone via the DJI Pilot app.

  2. Register the drone to your Flight Hub 2 account.

  3. Ensure firmware is updated to the latest version.

  4. The drone will now appear on the Fleet Dashboard for monitoring.


4. Understanding the Dashboard

The Flight Hub 2 Dashboard gives you a real-time overview:

  • Drone Status: Battery, signal, location

  • Mission Overview: Active and past flights

  • Map View: Live drone location with telemetry

  • Flight Logs: Automatic recording of flight history


5. Planning a Mission

  1. Click “New Mission”.

  2. Enter:

    • Mission name

    • Drone type

    • Takeoff/landing points

  3. Set flight parameters:

    • Altitude

    • Speed

    • Route (manual or automated waypoint path)

  4. Assign the mission to a pilot (optional)

  5. Review geofencing and restricted areas to ensure compliance

  6. Save and upload the mission to the drone.


6. Monitoring Flights

  • Use Live View to see drone telemetry and video feed.

  • Receive alerts for low battery, strong winds, or signal loss.

  • Pause or return the drone remotely if needed.


7. Flight Logs & Reports

  • All flight data is stored in the cloud.

  • You can export:

    • Flight logs

    • Telemetry

    • Battery performance

  • Useful for compliance, safety audits, and post-flight analysis.


8. Safety & Compliance

  • Check airspace restrictions before every flight.

  • Ensure the drone is registered if required by local aviation authorities.

  • Always perform a pre-flight inspection.
